Deacon Bill
Bill was born and raised in Baker MT, where he attended St. John the Evangelist Parish. In his youth he was a member of the Columbian Squires, and progressed into the Knights of Columbus when he turned 18.
He moved to Miles City in 1981, married Donna Baldwin in 1984, and together they have raised a daughter, a son, and another daughter (in the order God gave them). They have 4 grandchildren.
Bill has been a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Miles City since 1981. He has served numerous years as a lector and as a member of the Parish and Finance Councils as well as being a liaison between the Finance Council and Sacred Heart School Council.
Having been ordained to the diaconate in 2019, Bill serves as deacon in Sacred Heart Parish, and in Saint David’s Parish in Broadus. In his diaconal role, he also serves as a member of the Sacred Heart Finance Council.
He has served as a member of, and has held various offices in, the local K of C council, as well as serving 2 terms as a District Deputy of the K of Cs covering 4 councils in Eastern MT. He is also active in the Cum Christo movement.
Bill has worked in the technology department of Stockman Bank of Montana for 39 years, and serves the company as the SVP Director of Technology Architecture.
Through the grace of God, and in the spirit of service, Bill hopes to use his experience and abilities to help further the Foundation’s outreach, continued growth, and its benefit to our diocese.
