Rachel Howard

– St. Joseph’s Parish, Plentywood

Rachel grew up in the small town of Outlook in northeast Montana and attended St. Boniface Catholic Church. She attended the University of Montana and graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy. Rachel married Phil Howard and they have four children: Wyatt, Ian, Conner and Tessa. She returned to northeast Montana in 2008 and is currently a physical therapist at Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Plentywood. Rachel is an active member of St. Joseph’s Parish and serves as a cantor and lector. In addition to her family, church, and work life, Rachel has served on the Plentywood School Board for the past nine years, as board chair for a couple of terms.

Rachel notes that she accepted the invitation to join the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana Board “to work with a great organization whose primary goal is assisting in growing the Catholic Faith throughout all of our individual parishes and communities. I felt I could bring a fresh perspective to the board regarding how the Foundation is viewed by a ‘regular’ parishioner and hope to bring the news of the great works of the Foundation to parishioners throughout northeast Montana.”
