A simple, but oh, so effective (and important) way to support the Church forever
When many people think of building permanent endowments, they often think of large, planned gifts. But providing everlasting support for the Catholic causes that mean the most to you can be as simple as creating a recurring online donation or mailing in a twenty-dollar bill every month—whatever works for you. Don’t just take our word for it! Here are reasons that some of our donors give monthly to their favorite endowments at the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana.

I give monthly because it’s so easy. I don’t go online much, so instead I just call the staff, give them my information, tell them how much I want to do and how often, and they set it up for me. They send me a statement every year with a record of everything. This way I just donate automatically, and I don’t have to worry about it.”

My family was very involved at St. Mark’s. My dad was a catechesis instructor, and my mom and I served in music ministry. My sisters are still parishioners.
I have chosen to give monthly to the St. Mark Greatest Needs Endowment through the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana in memory of my parents and in thanksgiving for the community of St. Mark’s. By building St. Mark’s endowment at the Foundation, my gifts will continue to give back to my home parish in a sustained way over the coming years.”

Donors to the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana are amazing people from all walks of life! As you can see, these good folks (and many others throughout our diocese) take advantage of monthly giving to endowments.
It’s simple for them; has an eternal, ongoing impact for the Church; and shows their gratitude for God’s many gifts.
How to make a monthly donation online:
- Give online at catholicfoundationmt.org/endowments
- Scroll down to see the endowment categories—Greatest Needs (for the Foundation’s grant program), Parishes, Schools, Priests & Seminarians, Ministries & Charities, Cemeteries, or Legacy (named) Endowments. Click on the category you’d like to view
- Scroll down until you have found the particular endowment or beneficiary you’re looking for. Click on that endowment box.
- Click the “Donate online” button to reveal a simple form. Scroll down. Under the “Choose your gift” section, click “Ongoing,” then select your giving frequency.
- Complete the rest of the form and submit using the “Give” button.
