Matthew and Cleo Golik were faithful Catholics who made sure that all seven of their children attended St. Mary’s Catholic Grade School in Malta during the span of three decades: the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s. Their son Tom, the third oldest child, created this endowment in 2022 to honor the memory of his parents, for whom St. Mary’s Church was a most important part of their lives.

Planned Giving
Your support of permanent endowments at the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana can qualify you for unique tax and/or lifetime income benefits (especially the hefty 40% Montana Endowment Tax Credit) through what we call “planned gifts.”
Establish a Named (Legacy) Endowment
Donors may create a Named (Legacy) Endowment benefiting the Catholic parish, school, or ministry of their choice. All that’s required to start is a gift of $20,000 or more (or a pledge of $20,000 or more, given within five years of creating the endowment).
